Mario Balotelli’s Bentley is a phenomenon in itself. The
Italian customized his car in a camouflage war machine paint job. The car
hogged as much headlines as the tempestuous forward himself, one for the paint
job itself and of course for getting impounded and the numerous parking tickets
picked up. And it also had the ignominy of being urinated on by a Manchester
United fan before the Italian packed his bags and headed off to Italy.
Now, Portuguese artist Mr.Dheo has created a pair of custom
Balotelli boots with the same camouflage design with the line ‘Balo is Back’
along with the Superman logo, the Italian flag and the forward’s No.45
encrusted on the heel of the boots. The boots are in celebration of Super
Mario’s blistering start at AC Milan and the artist has customized a pair of
Nike Mercurial Miracle III FG boots to mark the occasion.
The box for the shoes has an image of Balotelli embossed on
the front with the line “Guess Who’s Back” on the interior. Now it’s a question
of whether we will see ‘Super Mario’ wear these out onto the playing field for
Milan and the Italian national team as he leads their artillery line.
